In my previous post, I talked about Ascendant/ Midheaven combinations from Aries through to Virgo and what careers people might be attracted to. In this post, I will do Libra- Pisces.

 

Asc in Libra/ MC in Cancer

Libra has a strong sense of colour and form. They know what looks pleasing to the eye and anything they touch becomes graceful and elegant. Cancer can also be creative, and has a knack for making people comfortable.

Possible careers: Interior designer/ decorator, home renovator/ restorer, visual artist, diplomat, counsellor, property developer.

Asc in Libra/ MC in Leo

Again, this is a very creative combo with the Leo MC adding just a touch of ‘Look at moi!’ Libran Ascendants are often attractive in a conventional ‘girl or guy next door’ kind of way and they have a great sense of style that makes others sit up and take notice.

Possible careers: Model, actor, dancer, stylist, artist, TV presenter.

Asc in Scorpio/ MC in Leo

This is a very driven combination- not to mention totally charismatic as well. This is the kind of person who aims for the impossible and makes it by sheer force of will. You don’t want to get in the way of someone with this combination- they want what they want and no one’s going to stop them.

Possible careers: Psychologist, actor, professional footballer, film director, politician.

Asc in Scorpio/ MC in Virgo

This person likes to stay in the background at work. They appear reserved and unassuming but their mind is like a sieve. With a long memory and attention to detail, they are good at doing any kind of in-depth research. They tend to work behind the scenes, but don’t assume this means they don’t know what’s going on. Trust me- this combination says very little, but sees everything.

Possible careers: Researcher, secret service personnel, private detective, investigative journalist, judge, police man or woman.

Asc in Sagittarius/ MC in Virgo

A love of communication typifies this combo. Working in any area of mass communication would definitely be a great utilisation of their skills. These people love being up-to-date on the latest news and current affairs- and all the celebrity gossip.

Possible careers: Publisher, TV or radio broadcaster, film or TV producer, columnist, reporter, journalist.

Asc in Sagittarius/ MC in Libra

These people are lively and sociable, with a genuine need to connect with others. They also have a strong idealistic streak and can find themselves working in occupations where they try and do some good in the world. Sagittarius is associated with the law, while Libra is associated with justice.

Possible careers: Union leader, lawyer, judge, foreign diplomat, charity organiser, foreign aid worker, advocate. public relations.

Asc in Capricorn/ MC in Libra

These two don’t really have much in common. Capricorn Ascendants make excellent business leaders while Librans enjoy working as part of a partnership. Therefore mentoring others to achieve business success or working as a team might suit them.

Possible careers: Business mentor or advisor, Human Resources, entrepreneur, life coach.

Asc in Capricorn/ MC in Scorpio

This is another one of those dynamic combinations. Capricorn ambition meets Scorpio single-mindedness to produce someone who has a relentless drive to be the best in their field. Calculated risk is what they are all about and they won’t waste their time chasing a goal if there isn’t going to be a big pay-off for their efforts.

Possible careers: Investor, stockbroker, politician, Navy Admiral, company director.

Asc in Aquarius/ MC in Scorpio

This combo could work at cross-purposes, having little in common. Aquarius could incline the individual towards either humanitarian work or the technology sector, while the Scorpio MC would prefer a position of power. Creating phone apps that help to improve people’s lives would be perfect for them.

Possible careers: App creator, web developer, tech innovator, inventor, scientist, surgeon.

Asc in Aquarius/ MC in Sagittarius

This combination is also idealistic. Aquarius loves humanity and Sagittarius has a generous and inclusive view of the world. Working with the most disadvantaged and downtrodden in our society could be their calling. They work tirelessly to make sure everyone gets a fair deal. Biggest pet hates: hierarchy and pointless bureaucracy.

Possible careers: Refugee advocate, child protection worker, drug rehabilitation officer, women’s advocate, food bank organiser, charity organiser, foreign aid worker, soup kitchen worker.

Asc in Pisces/ MC in Sagittarius

Both of these signs have their heart in the right place, but neither are very practical when it comes to making-and sticking to- career goals. Any career that gives them room to indulge in flights of fantasy or is unusual in some way would be a dream come true for them.

Possible careers: Costume designer, wildlife photographer, travel writer, novelist, actor, animal handler, stunt double, movie extra.
